I love this smoothie so much that I always make it a point to stock up on cans of unsweetened pumpkin during the fall season so I can enjoy pumpkin pie smoothies year round, because once fall passes they no longer stock the shelves with this heavenly orange goodness.
With the Thanksgiving holiday coming up, I thought I’d share something I came across recently.

I try to practice gratitude regularly. I used to keep a gratitude journal, then I moved on to a gratitude stone that I carried in my pocket as a gentle reminder. Curious… Do you practice gratitude on a regular basis? If so, how? Tell me in the comments below.
- 1 cup almond milk (or milk of your choice)
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 banana, preferably frozen
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- Sprinkle of cinnamon on top
- Place all ingredients into a blender and puree until smooth.
- Pour into 2 glasses and serve chilled. Enjoy! Makes 2 smoothies.
